Augusta Resource Signs Precious Metals Agreement with Silver Wheaton
Vancouver, B.C, February 11, 2010 - Augusta Resource Corporation (TSX/NYSE Amex: AZC) ("Augusta" or "the Company") is pleased to announce it has signed a definitive agreement with Silver Wheaton Corporation ("Silver Wheaton") under which the Company has agreed to provide Silver Wheaton with silver and gold in an amount equal to 100% of the payable silver and gold to be produced by the Company's Rosemont Copper Project.
