Buck recently relocated to Tucson from Denver, CO, where he served as Rosemont Copper’s Controller since February 2008. Andrews’ move comes as Rosemont continues to consolidate leadership at the company’s headquarters.
As the Controller for Rosemont, Andrews is responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, auditing and regulatory reporting, leasing, banking, human resources and benefit administration, 401(k) plans and payroll.
Andrews has more than 30 years experience in the finance and accounting industry. Prior to joining Rosemont, he served as Director of Finance and Administration for White and Steele, a litigation law firm with offices in Colorado and Wyoming. Andrews has also served as Chief Financial Officer for Queenstake Resources, Ltd. and PolyMet Mining, Inc. and worked with Cyprus Minerals for twelve years in the audit and accounting department.
Andrews holds a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Accounting from Midwest College in Boulder, CO and has taken several additional classes at Regis College and Metro State College to further his education in accounting, business administration and economics. He is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) with the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA).
