Rosemont Copper will be a unique project. The design features and methods make it like no other, including facility siting, a water supply utilizing high conservation standards, an accelerated land reclamation plan, and the ground-breaking community endowment.

Innovative water conservation and recycling techniques will use 50% to 60% less water than traditional mining. In addition, water quality will be zealously protected and guarded.

Rosemont Ranch will not have a smelter on site.

Reclamation will begin within the first year of mine production and will feature state-of-the-art practices. They include greenhouse studies for optimum revegetation, cattle use to prepare the seedbed for replanting, and construction of perimeter buttresses to stabilize soil and shield visual impact from state highway SR 83. Only a small portion of the final pit configuration will be visible from the highway.
