Metallurgical Engineer
Scott brings more than 15 years of experience in base metal, precious metal, and industrial mineral processing to the position.
He most recently served as the metallurgical engineer at the Red Dog lead and zinc mine in Alaska and at the Stillwater Mining Company’s East Boulder platinum and palladium mine in Montana.
As the chief metallurgist for Rosemont Copper Scott is responsible for reviewing the project’s plan of operations, feasibility studies, metallurgical tests and the basic engineering design. He will also coordinate with the engineering team to direct the engineering design and metallurgical operation requirements as needed.
Scott holds a Bachelor of Science degree in metallurgical engineering from Montana College of Mineral Science and Technology.
