Road to Approval Begins - Forest Services Releases Hearing Schedule for DEIS
Great News: The U.S. Forest Service released the Draft Environmental
Impact Statement (DEIS) hearing schedule today. This marks the key
moment after five years - the DEIS leads to a Record of Decision
(approval) (see the press release). As the Forest Service marks the
final steps - Pima County took action to deny our air
permit after approving it just a few weeks ago. Please know the county
will not deter us - that's why we turned to the courts weeks ago to
force the county to follow their own rules. This is your victory - let's
mark this day don't allow them to rain on your parade. If you're tired
of the county trying to delay jobs and economic opportunities - tell
